Garment Steamers

This steam iron is a household appliance designed to remove wrinkles from fabrics using hot steam applied directly to hanging garments. Unlike traditional irons, it allows you to iron clothes vertically, without the need for an ironing board.

This type of vertical iron is ideal for anyone looking for a quick solution to smooth shirts, dresses, coats, or curtains.

A vertical steam iron works through a continuous jet of steam that relaxes the fabric fibers, gently removing wrinkles. A traditional iron, on the other hand, uses direct pressure on the garment.

The steamer stands out for:

• Faster treatment of everyday clothes
• Ease of use on delicate garments
• The ability to smooth clothes directly on the hanger
• Easy transport when traveling

It is therefore a practical solution for anyone who wants to keep their clothes impeccable with less effort.

A steamer or vertical garment steamer is perfect for quick touch-ups and removing light wrinkles. However, for very pronounced wrinkles or thicker fabrics, some people still prefer a traditional iron.

Many users use both: the vertical steamer for daily maintenance and the traditional iron for more structured finishes.

The vertical steam iron is suitable for a wide variety of fabrics, including:

• silk
• cotton
• wool
• fiber
• linen
• denim

Thanks to its gentle steam, the vertical iron is especially suitable for delicate fabrics that could be damaged by the pressure of a traditional iron. However, it is not recommended for use on leather or suede.

Yes. The hot steam produced by the steamer eliminates odors and ensures 99% sterilization and the removal of dust mites from fabrics.

For this reason, many users turn to the steamer not only to smooth fabrics, but also to freshen clothes between washes or prepare garments that have been stored in the closet.

Yes. A vertical steam iron can be used on various fabrics around the home, such as curtains, lightweight upholstery, or bedding. The steam helps remove wrinkles and freshen fabrics without needing to take them down or move them.

This versatility makes the vertical steam iron a very practical appliance for everyday home maintenance.

Most vertical garment steamers heat up quickly, usually in less than a minute. This allows you to start using the appliance almost immediately, making it ideal for anyone who needs to prepare clothes quickly before leaving home. Flama steamers feature QuickStart technology and are ready to use in just 30 seconds—fast heating compatible with most fabrics.

Among the main advantages of a garment steamer are:

• quick garment care
• easy to use without an ironing board
• ideal for travel or daily use
• continuous steam that relaxes fabric fibers
• versatile for clothing, curtains, or lightweight fabrics

These features make the garment steamer a modern and practical solution for garment care.

For best results with the garment steamer, we recommend:

• Use clean water in the tank
• Keep the garment stretched while applying steam
• Do not hold the steamer too close to very delicate fabrics (see compatible fabrics)
• Clean the tank regularly to prevent limescale buildup

These precautions help ensure the appliance’s proper operation and longevity.

When choosing a vertical garment steamer, it is important to consider:

• appliance power, which influences steam production
• water tank capacity, which determines operating time
• heating time, for faster use
• ergonomics and weight, which make handling easier

The Flama steamer range combines practicality, efficiency, and a thoughtful design to make garment care simpler every day. It also features Steam Fusion 2-in-1 Technology, which ensures steam and suction work in perfect harmony to remove creases and odors in a single gesture.
